"This one came with the pool 2002. It lasted for 7 years. Only had to get a couple of wingsets, about $23 worth. Excellent cleaning! even under the heating blanket. It also cleaned the walls and the 2 lower stairs. Compared to the ATV, that's in the pool right now, it didn't get stuck as much, and there was never any spots on the bottom of the pool, the Kreepy really sucked it clean. Our next one's going to be another Kreepy, we don't want to spend our time scrubbing the pool."

"This works great!!! I too had to get a third wieght before I could use it as my pool is too deep for only two wieghts although I didn't have to pay a dime for the extra wieght. You have to make sure your filter is back washed before stating and it does get stuck on the drain sometimes. Other than that I'm very happy with this product."

"I used the KK for the entire summer and I can tell you for certain that it's just not worth it. We have a 20x40 rectangle with stairs in the shallow and 1 drop in set in the deep end. It's as cookie cutter as can be. The KK would constantly get hung on the deep end ladder or do a perpetual rotation around the bottom drain. As a bonus (sarcastic) when it would get hung up on the ladder, the ladder would vibrate so I just noticed the print on the liner behind the ladder legs is worn off. That means the liner is now thinner right in those 2 spots. I really appreciate that one! To sum it up, the engineers who designed this didn't go far enough. When it doesn't get stuck it's random properties are weak. It will follow the same paths so be prepared to vacuum anyway. Also, the only reason I gave it 2 stars because it does clean well (when it's not stuck) and it doesn't use a booster pump like my Polaris."

"This is the best product out. Saves me so much time not having to clean it myself now. Only have to give the stairs a quick brush and that's it. I let it run everyday when the pool is on. Looks so much better ALL the time now. A good price with the $100 rebate."

"OK yes, when we first installed we did have a problem with the unit getting caught near the ladder. This was due to the weight positioning and unfortunately, Pentair changed what they included with this product. They used to include 3 weights, now only 2 weights come with the unit. So if you have a normal sized pool you will be forced to buy at least 1 more weight. BUT since we figured out that problem, LIFE IS GREAT!! No more vacumming for me!!!! I love this product! I would recomend it to everyone."

"I purchased this Kreepy Krauly to replace two (2) Robo Kleen units I have purchased. The other reviews about the break downs on the Robo Kleen are right on. I have run this new Kreep Krauly unit in my pool for two weeks @ 24/7 and this unit rocks. Learned that moving the supplied "diverter" ever so slightly to different positions over the course of a day or two actually does change the cleaning path big time. I have a 33' above ground pool, so maybe the powerfull motor exhausts too much water into the pool that prevents the unit to clean all areas when the diverter is left in only one place. Knowing that, this unit will clean better than anything I know with only one moving part to break. On the fence - buy it!"

"We like this vaccuum alot. It doesn't have many parts, so its simple to use. We let it run each day just to keep the bottom and sides fairly clean. If there are bigger issues like worms or big leaves, we have to vaccuum manually. It needs a little bit of monitoring to make sure the hose isn't coiled up or its stuck on the stairs, but this doesn't happen very often. I would definitely recommend this as a good buy."

"For three seasons I used the standard vacuum and would spend a couple of hours doing manual labor cleaning my above ground pool. I Purchased the Automatic Kreepy Krauly and life has been easy. I go out early in the morning and hook it up and it does the work for me. It operates on the pump pressure, so there is no motor to break. By the time the kids are up and ready to swim the pool is completely vacuumed. I love it and would recommend it to all."

"This device has made my pool work much easier, because I am only at the pool on weekends and it keeps it clean. However it gets hung up at the pool ladder despite its guard to prevent this and a the collar where the hose connects has worn and does not hold the hose on well. The unit works well but you can't help wondering why it costs almost 400 considering its components. You can't get the parts either."

"I bought the Kreepy Krauly about a year ago figuring that possibly the product wouldn't be as good as advertised because of the price. Boy, was I wrong. This thing is fantastic. I have a large inground pool and several trees in close proximity to it, so I was constantly spending 2 or 3 hours on a Saturday morning cleaning my pool. Now I just put the Kreepy Krauly in the pool and forget it. It can do it's work while I'm at work, running errands or even overnight while I'm sleeping. There are virtually no parts to wear out and nothing else needed to keep my pool clean all summer long. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a pool. This thing is GREAT!!!!!!!!!"

"I have tried a side suction cleaner with the bag (hard to adjust, had to change water inlet fitting...)and another cleaner similar to KK (it got stuck in the corner and would stay there.
The Kreepy Krauly just plain works! I guess that is why it has been the best selling cleaner all these years. I should have bought it first!!!"
