Pros: Easy to use. Cons: Must lower chlorine level and Ph.
"This seems to have worked pretty well for me. Used it a couple of times over the past years. I refill my pool with our well water which has a lot of iron in it. I get stains on my pool bottom and sides. When used as directed on product, this removed nearly all of my stains on my 10 year old fiberglass pool. Package recommends use of metal remover after use of this product. Buy them both at the same time."

"I used this product as directed and after five days of running the filter constantly I still can not see the bottom of my pool! I was told that we could swim after 24 to 48 hours not so, too cloudy!"

"Had stains on my above ground pool liner that went around the whole pool and it came from winter closing, this season was the 2nd time it happened and they were now a lot darker. Had the pool for 4 years prior and no problem - tried the magic eraser - didn't work. Did as was instructed on the bottle and let it sit in the pool for 24 hours and the stains have virtually disappeared. I would say it got rid of 98% of the stains (all are lighter or gone). The only con I can see is it seems to be acid based so you need to lower the PH which could pose a problem on some pool components along with having almost no chlorine but for the short duration it probably isn't too much of a concern."

Pros: None Cons: Useless in my area and type of water????
"This product did NOT work for me. I made sure my PH was in the area it states on the package directions and that my cholrine was at the recommended level. It would have been a Big help if on the website the use of Stain Away with this product would have been included so I could have purchased Both products at the same time. I was not aware when I purchased this that I Might need an additional product. As it is I purchased two of these for my size pool and feel that I wasted my money. iwas very disappointed."
