"I had a light algae problem after the spring start up kit was used. I used another quart of this product and it was gone. I use the dosage needed each week and haven't had a problem since."

"This is by far the best algaecide we have ever used. There is no guess work involved. Just follow the directions and you won't have any problem with algae all season long. Cons: stains your liner and ruins your filter
"This is a copper based product. I used this product for a couple of years before i realized the problems it was causing. This will stain your liner and cause your stainless steel screws and bolts in your filter and pool to rust. Also ruins your gaskets. I have spent 4 weeks so far trying to get the copper out of my water. Spend the extra dollars for the algaecide 50 or 60 which are non-copper based. It will save you from having to rebuild the insides of your D.E. filter every 2-3- years which costs a small fortune. In The Swim has great products, but this is not one of them."

"I purchased this super algacide and had mixed results with it. I think it's okay as a maintenance algacide, but I'm not convinced it's the best algacide for a pool with significant algae. (Like first opening perhaps). I will probably try it again and continue to use it as a maintenance treatment."
