"1st. time user and LOVE it! Had some mustard algea starting and this stuff knocked it down in 1 day. Never used algeacide before in 8 yrs. but with these results, I'll use it weekly as a maintenance thing also."

Pros: Prevents and Eliminates Algea
Cons: Can cloud the water for an hour or so.
"This product is AMAZING. I have used this product for 2 years now. I use it weekly during the swim season and use it to close our pool in the fall. I pour an entire bottle in when we close the pool and I have yet to have any algea when we open in the spring. My dogs quite often swim in our nasty pond and then swim in the pool. Not once have they transferred the algea to the pool. EXCELLENT PRODUCT."

Pros: metal free
"My children love to swim, which is great with the exception of the green hair that comes with the pool. After research we discovered green hair is not only from chlorine but also from the metals in the water. Imagine our frustration, as most algaecides contain metal! After searching around, we found Algaecide 60 Plus, which does not contain metal. Since using the product, we do not see the green hair."
