"1st. time user and LOVE it! Had some mustard algea starting and this stuff knocked it down in 1 day. Never used algeacide before in 8 yrs. but with these results, I'll use it weekly as a maintenance thing also."

Pros: Prevents and Eliminates Algea
Cons: Can cloud the water for an hour or so.
"This product is AMAZING. I have used this product for 2 years now. I use it weekly during the swim season and use it to close our pool in the fall. I pour an entire bottle in when we close the pool and I have yet to have any algea when we open in the spring. My dogs quite often swim in our nasty pond and then swim in the pool. Not once have they transferred the algea to the pool. EXCELLENT PRODUCT."

"My children love to swim, which is great with the exception of the green hair that comes with the pool. After research we discovered green hair is not only from chlorine but also from the metals in the water. Imagine our frustration, as most algaecides contain metal! After searching around, we found Algaecide 60 Plus, which does not contain metal. Since using the product, we do not see the green hair."

"This is a very effective algaecide. It does not matter what the ph level of our pool water is, it does an excellet job killing all types of algae that is common to pools. We have used this product for several years and have the best luck of any product we have ever used. We highly recommend this product for your pool. We love it, and continue to use it!"

"I have been using Algaecide 60 for 15 years and am very pleased with the product. It dissapates easily in the pool. You can use it and swim immediately after application. There is no impact on the swimmers, even small children. I have had no algae problem since I have used it on a regular basis. I highly recommend this product Algaecide 60."

"I have used Algaecide 60 plus for years and love it! I previously purchased the "name brands" at local stores because they were cheaper. Well, they were not cheaper in the long run! I would use more and more without noticeable clearing of the pool water. When I finally switched to Algaecide 60 I was not very confident that I would see an improvement. I was wrong! It may cost more than the other initially, but it last a long time if used as directed. It helps keep my pool sparkling all season! I recommend it to all pool owners!"

"Our pool was grass green and after 2 treatments it was crystal clear.
Also had a bout of mustard algae and one treament it was gone.
Never had any other Algaecide work this well.
You won't go wrong using 60+, don't waste your money on lesser products."

"I used to scrub my pool even the chlorine level was adequate. Then I tried some cheap copper based algaecide and it worked really well. But I later discovered stain spots around my pool. Did some more research and found polymer based. Expensive but a perfect solution to save the labor. Owning a pool is easier now, totally worth the $"

"I have bought aglaecide from my pool store in the past and paid almost twice that of In The Swim's algaecide 60. (I checked the chemical match before purchasing it so I knew it was the same product.) I have had great results and really enjoy the price break."
