Dryco Cover Drain,
Date:October 16, 2013
Pros: works well so far, installation simple, video was a help in the installation
Cons: none so far, the video is better for istallation than the written instructions
"Installed this with our cover on Sunday. From start to finish it took about an hour to install drain and cover pool. We got our first big rain last night and it is doing the job. Only a little water on the cover this morning while it was still raining. It was easy to hook up the hose to the water return and water was flowing out well while it was raining. Hope it still works when the leaves start falling."

Pros: Does the job as advertised - works great so far with no problems
Cons: None that I am aware of but I just installed it so time will tell
"I installed this item on my cover and after a 24 hour rain, my cover was basically dry. The leaves haven't really begun to fall yet, but it appears that with the drain keeping the cover dry, the leaves will blow away and/or dry out and blow away.
I've messed around with other cover drain solutions without much luck. I don't like the idea of an electric system that has to be plugged in all winter long, plus they tend to be too heavy. Other siphon type drains seem to become plugged up and really don't do the job. This is the only system that I have actually found to work.
I also had the opportunity to deal with the company that makes this item, and they were very professional."
