"I have been using "In The Swim" chemicals (Including Algaecide 50) to open and close my pool for (4) years now. Never a problem. I have friends that have to empty better than half the water each spring just to clean and get their pool ready. I have never had to drain any water. "Closing" and more importantly "opening" has always been flawless. I will continue using Algaecide 50 as well as all the other "In The Swim" chemicals. GREAT STUFF!"

Pros: Easy to use,cheaper than local pool supply
"18x36 in ground. Water murky, thick and visible green algae begining to show on steps: Time to close pool so used one whole bottle and expected to have to vacuum out a mess. The next morning the pool was crystal clear and no dead grey algae to vaccum out so I didn't. I threw in 5 lbs of super shock and closed her up. I love this algaecide!!!Will order more for opening next pool season!Oh yeah was here two days after I put in the order and no shipping fee just a handling fee"

"This algecide is better than any other product I have used in our pool. Having a 15 year old concrete pool sometimes algae becomes a problem due to the rough insides of the pool. Applying this algecide is easy, just pour it around the edge of pool. Sweep algae off edges of pool and it is gone with in a day or 2. Better priced product than same kind at pool stores."

"When we switched from "store bought" to In the Swim- We don't get algae-period. People see our pool -especially in this latest heat wave we have had and always ask what we are using- its that easy. No black, green, white or any color algae. Our pool looks great."

"This algecide product works as good or better than any other product I have tried. There are no issues using this product with vinyl-lined pools, such as the one that I have. It is also reasonably priced -- typically less than what you'd pay for a similar product at a brick and mortar store."
