Cons: shock slow to dissolve, but I mix in bucket.
"Been using the shock and 3" clorine tablets for over 8 year, still happy with the results I get.
I always wait for free shipping and handling, then buy larger quantities."

"Last summer was the first summer since I've had my pool that I have been able to keep it clear. I found out that if I use the pool shock once a week and do the algeside maintence schedule and keep chlorine at a good level it just stays clear. Before I wasn't consistent with my chemicels and it would get cloudy and green I was about to give my pool away. I found that wonderful floc stuff works great when your pool gets cloudy and green. Where I bought my pool chemical before i started buying from in the swim they didn't tell me about that floc stuff, but once i started being consistent with my chemicals I didn't even need that floc chemical. please forgive my spelling, and correct it if you will."

"I order about 3 cases of this every season and it is so easy to use. No measuring; 1 1lb. package for every 10,000 gallons of water. I have used other brands from the local pool store and did not have the same results as I get with this shock. Will never ever run out of it again! Order on the phone or over the net and I have the next day or day after and they even deliver on SATURDAYS!
Oh and by the way.......customer service....simply the best when I have questions over the phone! 5 GOLD STARS for them!"

"I have used this product for many years, and find it to be very effective in algae prevention and sanitizing of the water. I particularly like that it does not have to be dissolved in water before adding it to the pool. My grandchildren have never complained about "stinging eyes" or a chlorine smell. The product is always delivered in one or two days after ordering."

Cons: The Water remains cloudyfor two days after
"When using" ITS" Pool shock, the following morning & for two days after the Water remains cloudy. I utilize clarifier the next day with the filter continually running. I did find out one time the alkalinity was low, once I increased the Alkalinity level the water amazing became clear. With no heavy rain this time & the water balanced, the pool still clouds up. I switch every other week with the non chlorine shock by "ITS" and that stuff is great! I am thinking about using a different brand or trying the Super pool shock by "ITS". Why is it the pool shock package suggests to "not" predisolve in water but on the website it suggests that you should predisolve?"

Cons: It didn't dance
"Had dark green pool water when I opened. Once the pH and alkalinity were ok, put in 4 lbs of this (24,000 gal) and it turned a light green. Another 2 lbs and it was clear. Can't beat it. Will definetly use this through the season on a weekly basis."
