greatest product ever, November 26, 2008
By wolfman from Martinsburg Wv.

Pros: everthing that I hoped for and more
Cons: none

"I purchased this product this year and after I installed it under the winter cover I wished that I would have ordered 2 of them and next year I will have 2 for our 15x30 pool it keeps the leaves off and that takes a lot of work out of opening the pool up next spring I can see that already so if you really want a great product this is it but if you have a large pool buy 2 or just ask the dealer because they are always glad to help."

air pillow, November 18, 2008
By mynameisnotimportand from south jersey

Cons: not heavy enough gage

"Got two of the 4x8 air pillows and one ripped when inflated. Very poor quality OR the 16 gage plastic is not heavy enough. I would remove "durable" from your advertising."

Okay, November 14, 2008
By beetlebabe73 from North Carolina

Pros: Made it easier to put the cover on.
Cons: Deflated after about 3 weeks

"I think the concept is great. It does make it easier to put the cover on, but mine deflated after about 3 weeks. And I only inflated in half way. Maybe mine is defective?"

Advice was helpful, November 7, 2007
By Sam61 from WI

Pros: Good price and excellent service
Cons: Maybe four eyelets to tie cord to would be more helpful.

"I have purchased three of there in the past three years from my local pool place and not a one ever survived the entire winter.
You are the first to advise me to fill it only one half full of air to allow for the expansion of the ice. My local dealer never told me this even though I had explained the poor results that I had experienced with their pillows in prior years."

Better Than the ring I used last year, October 27, 2007
By POOLGIRL96 from Mo

Pros: Grommets on the corners-ease of use-durable
Cons: None yet

"I bought the 4x8 air pillow and I can't tell you how much better it worked compared to the ring float I used last year. For one thing it was easier to anchor and keep in place so when it came to putting the cover on it didn't move around or cause the cover to get hung up on it either. Last year the ring float deflated half way through winter so we will see how this holds up. It is more durable than the ring too. I inflated it halfway and I read somewhere to put duct tape over the flap(I guess to keep it inflated). So far so good!!"

Pillow Power, October 10, 2007
By Leesa

Pros: Durable Vinyl
Cons: Had a hard time getting it to stay in place

"The pool-closing air pillow is a great product! It helped us complete our end-of-season closing chores. I feel good knowing that it will relieve the stress on the pool walls when freezing temperatures arrive!"

Best way to go!, September 30, 2007
By MrMasse from Leonardo, NJ

Pros: Easy to inflate, round shape easy to manuever
Cons: Little bit of a tough time closing the valve

"Good overall product. Definite plus that the shape has been changed from square to round, just makes sense... how many square above ground pools have you ever seen?

The only thing I would like to see is grommets on all four sides of the pillow to allow anchoring from all four sides. Sometimes two sides is just not enough and the pillow can still drift on you when putting the cover on.

Otherwise it is a good, and yes necessary investment. You only need the one but you should definitely get this one, imho!! ;)"

Good Product, September 19, 2007
By Tammy

"My husband and I had our pool pillow go flat last year like some of the other reviewers. However, we realized this year that you are not supposed to blow it up all the way. It is only supposed to be inflated half way. If it is inflated all the way, as soon as as the temperature reaches the freezing point it will make the balloon go flat. Hope this helps the other reviewers who commented about this problem."

o.k. for tje price, August 22, 2007
By Katetoo

Pros: helps for a while
Cons: need two people

"This is a relatively inexpensive item that seems to start off well (after you have help positioning it and attaching it to the sides of the pool) but my experience has been that it tends to go flat midway through the winter...still, I figure it's probably better to use it than not to use it."
