Mesh cover NOT the way to go,May 23, 2009

Pros: light weight, looks nice Cons: Algae, Algae and more Algae
"It looks nice and is easy to install. I would give anything to have a solid cover instead of the mesh. Clean up is a 2 week (and $300) process because of algae. No fun."

Pros: This pool cover is very safe. We've owned it for 7 years. Cons: Not worth the cleanup time involved and money spent on chemicals in the spring .
"We've owned this cover for 7 years, and I'm very tired of the time and money that is involved in the spring during opening. Dirt and dust seeps through the mesh panels during the winter. If you are spending this kind of money buy the solid cover. You will be glad you did."

Pros: Easy installation and removal with ease of mind with children and pets protected from accidental falling into the pool Cons: The mesh alows rain, snow melt to enter the pool water.
"I've owned this cover for the last 6 years and I am very satisfyed with the protection provided. But, it does not stop alge groth as advertised. It's a real pain every sping to vaccume the pool of alge and Shock the water. I close the pool properly with cleaning and chemicals as instructed. I don't know how but there is leaves getting under the cover also. This is very puzzeling to me. The cover is installed properly. I never had this problem with my old Solid winter cover. I'm ready to install the Solid cover over the Mesh cover for dual protection. Mesh for safety and the Solid cover for water clarity and Alge protection. OLDMAN"

Pros: custom service rep. was super. custom cover fit good. Cons: Installition details were not clear as they should be.
