"This worked great and was put to the test last winter. Living in Central New York, where we talk of snow in terms of feet, not inches, it was put to the test. We had no skimmer problems at all."

"I used this product last winter on my brand new pool. The water level never rised in my pool, but water still got in somehow. This item did not do its job, as my skimmer cracked, obviosly due to freezing water that somewho got into the skimmer. I checked it weekly throughout the winter, but never saw any water build-up, so it isn't like the skimmer filled up with so much water that this item couldn't do its job at preventing a crack."
