Buy the 50 lb bag and save money,
August 11, 2007
By Tom53
|
Pros: cheaper by bag, fast dissolving, easy to use
Cons: don't store in bag
"I bought (2) 50 lb bags due to cheaper cost and stored the PH+ in old chlorine pails with a handmade label on it. I have a 50,000 gal pool so it takes a lot to adjust the ph when needed. The bags are definitely cheaper and stores very well in empty, rinsed out chlorine pails. I buy chlorine in 50 lb pails due to the cheaper cost as they can be stored for up to 2 years with no problem. Then I use the emprty rinsed out pails to store PH+."

PH Up in bags ****,
August 10, 2007
By WaterDr
|
Pros: Lowest cost per pound.
Cons: In bags. For convience, I put into used PH UP buckets.
"I use a lot of PH UP due to acid rain and my well water. Purchasing it as 100# (2 x 50#) is a great way to save money. I just put the unused amount into used PH UP buckets."

Pros: Works quickly
Cons: Does not come with a measuring scoop.
"Other than having to use a household measuring device to figure out how much you are using, this product works really well. My only issue is it should come with a measuring scoop."

Can't do without it in Wisconsin,
June 3, 2007
By Lilahblossom
|
Pros: brings up the ph right away
"I can't open my pool without this. When you have a big pool you need lots of the ph up . There isn't enough baking soda in the world to balance it seems. And as with all pool chemicals, please read the instructions."
