dissappointed, October 2, 2009
By luckycharm from fredonia new york

Pros: none
Cons: poor durability

"I purchased this solar cover 4-19-09 It has already spilt open along the seam and water is inside. This cover didn't last even a year . Don't waste your money."

mediocre cover, August 20, 2009
By SwimTime09 from Navarre, Ohio

Pros: With sun, warms great
Cons: Not durable

"This is the third (and last?) one of these I purchase. Warms water greatly. Buy year two the "dots" always start to fall off and there are hundreds floating in your pool. About that time it tears like tissue paper when you tug on it to move it in any direction. Buying Tip - Don't purchase in the winter to save 'till summer - you waste your warranty time. This review is for the Product, NOT IN THE SWIM"

Good Cover, August 3, 2009
By Danman from Muncie, IN

Pros: Lightweight, cheap price, heats pool good.
Cons: Let a little more heat out than thicker covers.

"I have had this cover for about 3 months, and it has worked well. The only issue is that the thickness doesn't hold the heat in at night as well as the thicker blankets, but I would say overall it heat the water up better than the thicker covers, so it is a wash probably. It is lighter and easier for my wife to move and that is nice."

Awesome Product!, August 1, 2009
By SuzyQ1 from IL

Pros: Raised water temperature in a few days!

"We haven't had a solar cover for a few years and every time the grandkids would get ready to swim the water was always too cold so we decided to give your product a try. We were very impressed with this cover. The water stays warm and the chemicals aren't zapped out. The shipping was also very impressive. It was here in 3 days! We Thank You and our grandkids do too for making our summer swimming very enjoyable!"

Great Product, July 27, 2009
By Lacie from Norris City, IL

Pros: Heated up pool
Cons: Took several days to notice temp raising

"I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to heat their pool water up for a good price. I hesitated at first not believing it could work but it does. It did take 5 days to notice but our temp was 69 and on the 5th day it rose up to 78. It is a pain to keep putting cover on and taking it off but it is worth it."

By RochesterNY from RochesterNY

Pros: Great Price
Cons: Thin

"Overall this is a good product for the price. I have purchased heavier covers in the past and they do not hold up so I decided to go with this one and if I get two years out of it I am ahead! The shipping you had made it a good deal and I had it in 3 days!"

Great product for the price, July 19, 2009
By SunStruck from Ridgeway, VA

Pros: Really does increse water temperatures
Cons: takes a few good hot days to really feel the difference

"We purhased this product in hopes of increasing the water temperature of our above ground pool. It is very easy to take off and put back on . After leaving it on for a few hot days in a row and especially putting it back on during the night, to keep the water temperature the same, we could tell a substantial increase in our pool water temperature and it maintains it as long as you put the cover back on after each use. Also helps keep the pool water clean of debris after a rain or storm. We really would recommend this product."

Pros: So far, everything.
Cons: None yet.

"Perfect mil weight for using with a solar reel. Anything heavier and it would be hard to roll out. Our last 8 mil cover lasted 5 years which is just fine when you consider that is an average of $14 a year to keep your water temperature from plummeting overnight. When you think of what your cover goes through with chemicals and sun exposure you can't expect these little pockets of air to hold up much more than that. The cover came with plenty of extra width to trim to our size of pool. In The Swim's price was 1/2 of what we found for the same product locally."
