I going back to robo kleen, March 26, 2009
By russo from North Augusta, South Carolina

Pros: it got shipped fast

"I had a robo kleen. It lasted four years and I used it all year long and left it outside too. I got the pool rover jr because it had good reviews and I thought i would try it because it was cheaper. Well i got it home and it wouldnt even reach across my whole pool. i only have a 24 round pool. Plus it didnt pick up fine particles. I had some pollen on the bottom of the pool and it is still there. I am now returning this thing for the robo kleen."

Greatest Little Pool Guy, November 27, 2008
By Flbird from West Plam Beach, Fl

Pros: Works all by itself
Cons: Absolutely None!

"My husband has been cleaning our pool for years and we finally decided to invest in a cleaner to help. We picked this one because of the reviews and we are very happy we listened! We also didn't want one that went through the filter so this was our choice. I've never seen him get so excited about turning something on and just watching it go to work.
This is the next best thing to having a cleaning crew come clean it for you!"

KEPT MY POOL CLEAN THE ENTIRE SEASON, November 27, 2008
By Donalea from Indianapolis, IN

Pros: easy to use, cleans completely
Cons: none

"I would highly recommend this product. It is VERY easy to use and did a better job than I have done with the traditional method. I have a lot of trees surrounding my pool and still only had to use once a week."

IF IT WAS AVAILABLE, WOULD HAVE BOUGHT YRS AGO!!, September 19, 2008
By LEXUSGRC from RUTHERFORD, NJ

Pros: CLEANS POOL BETTER THAN I EVER COULD BEFORE
Cons: NONE

"THE PRODUCT IS PHENOMENAL..YOU PUT IT IN AND IT GOES..AND CLEANS, I READ SEVERAL REVIEWS ABOUT NOT PULLING FROM CORD TO REMOVE...NO WORRIES!!!!
JUST GOT MINE, AND POLYPROPYLENE OR PLASTIC CORD, NOT BOTTLES OR FLOATING THERMOMETERS AS PREVIOUSLY RECOMMENDED, WORKS JUST FINE...ABOUT 6 FEET TIED TO THE HANDLE ON A 4 FT POOL..
FLOATS ON SURFACE AND DOESN'T SLOW UP VACUUM LIKE BOTTLE..THANKS AGAIN FOR MAKING MY BUSY LIFE EASIER!!"

Makes my pool life much easier, September 8, 2008
By POOLGIRL96 from Missouri

Pros: Makes cleaning pool easier and faster
Cons: none

"I am so glad I bought the Pool Rover Jr.! It used to take me forever to clean my pool with a skimmer and my pool's just 15ft round. It sucks up even the tiniest particles. The only thing I've seen that's an issue is sometimes it can't reach the stuff closest to the wall. I just use the skimmer to push the junk towards the center and the rover picks it up! The bag is easy to clean and it is easy to use."

Worth the Money, August 16, 2008
By Kristine from Jackson, MS

Pros: Easy to use and works great
Cons: Getting it out of the water without pulling it up by cord

"We have an 18' pool and I was tired of wasting time on my weekends slloowwwwlly vacumming it with the vacuum that came with the pool. I was hesitant to invest the money in the Pool Rover Junior but it's been well worth it. Super easy to use and works great on leaves and fine particles. Just plop it in and let 'er rip!
I appreciated the comment/review about tying the Rover handle to a floating thermometer to be able to pull it out of the water without pulling it up by the cord. I didn't have a floating thermometer but I tied a small nylon cord to the Rover handle on the side and then to a large water bottle (or Coke bottle etc. would do) and pull it up out of the water by it. Works great! And it gives us a laugh because the bottle being pulled around the pool by the Rover reminded us of the movie Jaws when Jaws is swimming with the big orange floating barrels being pulled above him. So now we call the Rover our mini Jaws! :)
Great product and worth the money! Very pleased with it so far and very appreciative of the time it saves on the weekends!"

Worth the investment, July 23, 2008
By Babsy from Philadelphia, PA

Pros: Self-contained - no hoses to connect
Cons: Needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet but cord is long so not really a con

"Used in a 18' x 33' x 52" A/G pool.
The time it took to unbox and get it running in the pool - 20 min.
Not much learning involved with the unit. Robot plugs into a box that plugs into an outlet. Cord floats and self detangles with the pull of the attached detangling handle on the end of the cord.
Filter bag is a generous size and easily rinsed with a garden hose - it is also easy to remove from the robot and replace (make sure you pull it completely up over the lip).
Does a great job on leaves, dirt and fine sand particles.
Remember that it is not recommended you remove the robot by pulling on the cord. I attached a floating thermometer to the handle on the top of the robot with some nylon cord. When the robot is done cleaning the pool (approx. 2 hours for my size poool) I pull the nylon cord to remove it.
Great investment."

Heaven!!!, June 18, 2008
By SampsonsOwner from Petersburg, WV

Pros: It works wonderfully!!!
Cons: None

"I bought the well reviewed Kreepy Krauly and ran it 3 days in a row. It didn't pick up the fine particles. It was too much work for an auto vac.
I sent it back and invested in the Rover. It had my 18Ft round pool spotless in an hour. Wonderful product and doesn't have to be hooked up to my filter. Very easy to operate."

Best Cleaner yet!!, May 30, 2008
By KHines from THOMASVILLE, GA

Pros: Out performs all of the "aquacritter" type cleaners. Self sufficient, does not need suction/discharge line hookup.
Cons: The floating cord gets tangled but easy to remedy.

"I have purchased every above ground auto pool cleaner on the market. The Rover out performs them all. The fact that it is "self sufficient" makes it even better. There are no hoses to hook up. Just plug it in. The filter bag holds a great deal of debris and is fairly easy to clean. The 36' cord tangles easy but only takes a minute or so to untangle. I give this unit a 5 star."
