"I should have never waited so long to buy this baby. It took a bad winter that tore up our cover, put a hole in our pool liner, and absolute yuck at the bottom of our pool. We've always had a crystal clear opening in years past. It got worse as we finally dragged what was left of our winter cover off. With my regular pool hose vacuum, it would kill my filter and have me stopping the pump frequently to clean it. It was time to buy a new filter cartridge, and I'll be darned if I was going to ruin it cleaning out this gunk. I ordered this product and absolutely love it! Many people claim an issue with pulling it out of the pool. I use my easy reach clamp tool, grab one of the wheels, and yank that baby up. I'm not young, and it takes an extra umph until the water drains out...but the more I move, the longer I will last. If it ever breaks...I'll buy another one. Thank you!"

"I love, love, love my new pool rover. We have an above ground intex easy set up pool. We've had several, but last year was the first year we got the largest one. It was too hard setting up for me to want to break it down and do it again. So I left it up. I never thought to drain a lot of water and start over this spring, but the rover was a godsend. For two days, we just ran it over and over. It would only go about ten to fifteen minutes at first (but that was very understandable for how dirty the water was). It is a little heavy lifting out of the pool but I have managed just fine and I am a 5'2" woman who weighs 150. The manual could have been a little simpler to understand. For a non-techy woman, it made my head hurt studying it, lol."

"Bought this for my above ground 28 foot round pool which half of it has a deep end of 6 feet. Couldn't wait to use this vaccuum since vacuuming is difficult with the deep side. Unfortunately the vacuum could not make it up the large incline once it landed in the deep end. Tried it a couple of times and it only took it minutes to get trapped in the deep end....Argghhhh! Brought it back to store for full refund, employee was a great help!"

The things i didnt like was the way to get it out of the pool they should have had some kind of handle or hook to pull it out .
The cleaning the filer bag wasnt bad just putting it back could have been a lil ezr but not bad ..it is worth it when u see all the dirt in it ..:)
Saves so much time , while u leave it and forget it .. you can get other things done while the Rover is cleaning the pool for ya ..:) buy it u will not be disappointed ..

"Rover T has some issues on the direction it turns to sweep the bottom of the pool. It skips spots, but I think it eventually gets to it. In the beginning you have to clean it alot & it took us awhile to get it setup, but it does work & doesn't bulk when it eats leaves.
Our pool is above ground so limitations on sweepers are an issue, but for what it does, its pretty good.

"This is an excellent product to clean the pool. Once you get the timing down (going back and forth across the pool) it pretty much works on its own. It cleans better than our other automatic cleaner, the Shark (which runs off the pool pump). You do NOT need to tie a rope with a floater on it as some describe. Just gently pull it across the pool and gently pull up until you can reach it to pull it out of the pool. My ONLY complaint is that it's time consuming to clean the bag. I only wished I would have purchased it when it was on clearance instead of paying full price."

"We started the summer with a MUDDY pool. This actually cleaned the last of the muddy mess off the bottom. Filters the water to "Stir" it up. I use mine 1-2 times per week. Have a Pool Blaster hand vac to hit the small dirt patches in-between. I love both! Wish it had a rope handle or something to pull it up off the pool floor with. I don't like pulling on the electrical cord. I am very cautious about following the directions when using this since it is electrical. (Pool Blaster isn't) Water and electricity don't mix. But if used correctly, this vac is wonderful!"

"I had a "bug" style suction-side cleaner and this cleaner is much easier to set up and use. It covers the entire bottom of my 18' pool in almost no time compared to the "bug" which missed a lot of the bottom unless I guided it around with a brush. (Almost like hand-vacuuming!)
The "Rover" is very easy to set up--basically just drop it into the pool, plug it into the timer/transformer, and let it work. Come back anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours later (depending on the size of your pool) and unplug it and take it out. Then comes the only hard part--cleaning the filter bag. It's not all that hard but it does involve a bit more work to take the bag out, rinse it, and put it back in than I think it should. I think a little better design would make the job a lot easier.
All in all, a nice cleaner but could be better designed. I see that "In The Swim" now has this cleaner on clearance at a greatly reduced price. I'd recommend it to others only at the clearance price."

"I had a robo kleen. It lasted four years and I used it all year long and left it outside too. I got the pool rover jr because it had good reviews and I thought i would try it because it was cheaper. Well i got it home and it wouldnt even reach across my whole pool. i only have a 24 round pool. Plus it didnt pick up fine particles. I had some pollen on the bottom of the pool and it is still there. I am now returning this thing for the robo kleen."

"I am so glad I bought the Pool Rover Jr.! It used to take me forever to clean my pool with a skimmer and my pool's just 15ft round. It sucks up even the tiniest particles. The only thing I've seen that's an issue is sometimes it can't reach the stuff closest to the wall. I just use the skimmer to push the junk towards the center and the rover picks it up! The bag is easy to clean and it is easy to use."

"We have an 18' pool and I was tired of wasting time on my weekends slloowwwwlly vacumming it with the vacuum that came with the pool. I was hesitant to invest the money in the Pool Rover Junior but it's been well worth it. Super easy to use and works great on leaves and fine particles. Just plop it in and let 'er rip!
I appreciated the comment/review about tying the Rover handle to a floating thermometer to be able to pull it out of the water without pulling it up by the cord. I didn't have a floating thermometer but I tied a small nylon cord to the Rover handle on the side and then to a large water bottle (or Coke bottle etc. would do) and pull it up out of the water by it. Works great! And it gives us a laugh because the bottle being pulled around the pool by the Rover reminded us of the movie Jaws when Jaws is swimming with the big orange floating barrels being pulled above him. So now we call the Rover our mini Jaws! :)
Great product and worth the money! Very pleased with it so far and very appreciative of the time it saves on the weekends!"

"Used in a 18' x 33' x 52" A/G pool.
The time it took to unbox and get it running in the pool - 20 min.
Not much learning involved with the unit. Robot plugs into a box that plugs into an outlet. Cord floats and self detangles with the pull of the attached detangling handle on the end of the cord.
Filter bag is a generous size and easily rinsed with a garden hose - it is also easy to remove from the robot and replace (make sure you pull it completely up over the lip).
Does a great job on leaves, dirt and fine sand particles.
Remember that it is not recommended you remove the robot by pulling on the cord. I attached a floating thermometer to the handle on the top of the robot with some nylon cord. When the robot is done cleaning the pool (approx. 2 hours for my size poool) I pull the nylon cord to remove it.
Great investment."
