Product Reviews

Double Water Tubes

"Double chamber water tubes won't roll like single-chamber alternatives. If one side becomes punctured, there is still enough weight from the other chamber to hold your cover down."

Pros: Last long time if no leaks.
Cons: Should not be folded. Should be rolled for shipping and storage

"Bought 6 pack 2 of 6 leaked. Tubes are folded and packed in box tightly. Tubes leak on folds. Customer service replaces with no problem. Customer service seems like this is common problem."

Durabilaty of water tubes, December 14, 2008
By Lorrie from I am a retired upstate New York state resident.

Pros: In the harsh winters near Canada, the durability of these tubes place a sense of confidence in the company!
Cons: None at this time

"The water tubes for stablizing the winter cover for my inground pool were priced reasonably, easy to place and very durable. Heavy rains fell before the snow season, and the tubes held well. None of the tubes broke down as others I have had did. Accolades to your company from a satisfied customer!"

Replacements, December 14, 2008
By poolman12 from East Texas

Pros: Stays in place when one side fails
Cons: Not very durable

"I bought two six packs last year. Two of the tubes didn't make it through the winter season splitting along the seam on one of each the failed dual tubes. The others held together and are in use for this second season."

Very Helpful, November 28, 2008
By DannyM4 from Rockland County, NY

Pros: holds cover down
Cons: hard to get the tabs open

"Bought a box of 10 foot double chamber water bags. Does a good job. I have both a heavy winter cover and a leaf cover over my 18X36 inground. Does a good job in holding down the cover"

Great deal, November 27, 2008
By cmscrapper from Nashville Tn

Pros: Love the quality of the water tubes
Cons: did not like the longer tubes

"This is the 2nd order of water tubes since I have
had my inground pool and I love the quality. This time I decided the longer tubes would be a better deal but after getting them in place decided I liked the 6 ft water tubes better than the 10 ft tubes.
I was able to work with my winter cover better with
the shorter tubes.

Water tubes, October 7, 2008
By windowman from West Chester, PA

Pros: Work great for keeping leaves out from under cover, I am on a hill with lots of trees and occasionally high wind
Cons: Birds & squirrels peck holes in a few each year so I replace 3-4 each year out of 12

"I have purchased tubes from other sources in the past. they do not hold up as well as those from In the swim. Have been a satisfied customer for many purchases"

Great Service and Product too!!, November 29, 2007
By CandyOh from Huntsville, AL

Pros: Fast service, quality product, great help
Cons: One was improperly manufactured, packing made it hard

"These tubes were exactly what I was looking for. I have used these tubes for years and they work perfectly for my pool closing. The delivery time was unbelievable. The tubes were on my front door step in no time at all. I ordered 8 tubes and one was manufactured incorrectly. I contacted customer service and a replacement was here within 2 days. Now that's service! I do wish the individuals who pack the tubes would be more careful to not crimp the red rubber stopper for filling. The crimps made the initial connection difficult but the next time the holes will be re-formed and should be no problem."

These are VERY poor quality, November 25, 2007
By Diane from Portland, OR

"I bought 12 of these and was very careful to avoid abrasion with the concrete. Seven of them had failures in both tubes and two of them in one leaving me with only three functioning. I now have to deal with the shipping and return process (assuming they will be refunded) and find another solution."
