Pros: Fast reading, no trying to match shades to a scale
"I have used these for a little over a year now. The problem the one bad review may have had is you have to clean the glass sensor area occasionally. I can tell when I get really off-the-wall readings, they return to normal after cleaning the sensor area."

Pros: Easy to use, quick assessment of major water condition
Cons: A little more expensive
"I have used the Aqua Test Strips and Digital Meter for three years now. A base line for comparison: I use an automatic chlorine feeder with 3 inch tablets and the Natural Chemistry products for water maintenance. I have compared the accuracy with other traditional testing kits and find the results to be within 10% of each other. I haven't had an algae or any other water problem for three years."

Pros: Easy to use, easy to destroy your pool heater.
Cons: Not very accurate.
"The CL reading is 1.00 off, PH reading .6 off and the ALK is over 100 points off. Destroyed a $330 heater exchanger because I relied on the meter. The place where I bought my pool tells me I am the 4th person to report that this tester is inaccurate. Stay away from it!"
