spa 2 go,July 30, 2009

Pros: have not found any Cons: everything about it
"I wrote before about this product about the power pack and all the money you will put into this product, that was 2 days ago. Since then the thermal cover has also gone bad. So not only do you pay $89.00 for shipping of the power pack, but look out, its $49.00 more the next week for a new cover. If you plan on buying one of these, plan on constantly paying. Its not a spa, its a drain pool. Drain you of your money that is. $$$$$$$$$$$."

A Dream of Heaven if you can "do it yourself!",July 18, 2009
By MrsJoefrom Denver, CO, USA
Pros: 'Family Fun Time' for pennies a day; easy to use in every way. Cons: requires some thought and effort to be completely enjoyable. this might be an issue for some.
"After two months of thrice-daily delight, we are happier than ever with our Spa2Go. We can recommend it with no reservations to the buyer who understands what they are getting into. It's probably not for those who need their hand held every step of the way! Be prepared to do a little work to ensure your maximum enjoyment.
#1. It's a big bathtub. We change the water at least once a week; a small sump pump is HIGHLY recommended. We do test the water, and use bromine tablets, and balance the pH and calcium. But you wouldn't expect to use the same bath water for months on end, right?
It takes us about 4 hours to drain, clean, and refill the Spa, using our kitchen sink. (We fill it slowly enough to have the water nice and hot right away!) A pan of water next to the Spa lets us step in with clean feet.
#2. It's made of plastic. We've managed to puncture the inner top, but fixed it easily. We also strongly recommend a small air pump, like the kind you buy for an air mattress. Assume the possibility of a leak in one or more of the air chambers over the lifetime of the Spa. (You'll probably want to have a vinyl patch kit handy as well.)
#3. The inner lining of the outer top cover rips about as easily as a kleenex. We use duct tape, works like a charm.
#4. The setup was a breeze, with instructions that are easy to understand. MAKE SURE YOU LINE UP THE VALVES WITH THE HOLES!!! That's one thing that might have been stressed a bit more.
I'm a small woman, and my 12-year-old daughter and I had no trouble at all--one person could set it up easily, but two people made it fun.
#5. An inexpensive free-standing awning lets us enjoy our Spa at blazing noon, or in the rain. We had to go to the thrift store and buy a half-dozen bathing suits for each person in the house.... because the Spa quickly became our major center of recreation and 'family time.' We laugh, we let our hair down and talk from the heart, we relax and spend time TOGETHER. And baby, that's priceless.
We never have made, nor ever could make, a better investment."

worst purchase ever,April 20, 2009
By tuckerfrom hampton, va
Pros: cost Cons: stopped working after one year
"The heater on the hot tub lasted one year. It costs $500.00 to replace. The warrentee was for 1 year. Now i can see why. I now have a glorified wading pool. When I called the spa2go company they were of no help. invest in a good spa and forget this one."

Spa2Go,December 5, 2008
By Phyllyfrom LaPlata MD
Pros: Great size for 2 adults to lounge or for 4 to sit in the bubbles. Easy to get in and out of with a small step stool. Cons: Tricky to get the chemicals just right and maintained.
"We've used our spa often and would use it more, if the chemicals were easier to manage; not fond of having to drain it so often. Had a problem with green algae returning often."

AWESOME SPA!!!,August 22, 2007
By AngelaP
Pros: Portable, Can be used inside/outside, easy to set up
"We where looking to purchase/rent a spa for a water birth when we came across this portable spa. This works wonderfully! We have it set up inside, water temp. remains constant. There is more than enough room in the spa for 2 adults! The jets are great for the back! What an affordable way to own your own spa!"
