Pros: Looks really cool! Lights up well!
Cons: You need a lot of them if you have a big pool
"I really like mine. I bought 2 to begin with and have bought four more since. Mine have lasted two years with no leaks or corrosions. I always take them out of the pool at the end of the night and keep them out of the sun during the day. I love them!"

"It does not put out anything like the picture suggests. Would need a bunch of them to make the pool look like that. Leaked water immediately. And after only a couple uses it died anyway."

Cons: batteries corrode and l.e.d. light quit working
"We put ours in the water only 4 times...first time great by the third time the batteries were corroded with rust and then the fourth time the red light quit working. Works well for one season, then plan on throwing it in the trash and buying a new one. Should be labeled disposable after a few uses."

Cons: Need at least 4-5 to even "decorate"the bottom of pool
"the lights are neat reflecting in the pool..We have a 30 ft round and purchased three....pretty in the little area it shines on.....the picture (at least for our pool) was totally misguiding on how the pool would be so lit up..Not worth the money by any means"

"I ordered 2 lights. One was defective, which In The Swim promptly replaced for me. Really cool idea, however, the colors are no where near as bright and saturated as the catalog depicts. Additionally, one light didn't come close to covering the pool (24' above ground). I'm guessing it would take 4 to do an adequate job. The kids like it though, so maybe that's what counts!"

"I do love the lights, they are neat and would work great if only bigger or brighter. I have a 24X4ft.round pool. The picture shown would be great, but they don't put out that much light. I purchased 2 and it would take at least 6 more to make the pool come close to coinciding with the picture. I like them, they just don't put out enough light. Great idea...but someone needs to expand on the idea."

"I got one of these and wished I had ordered 3 or more. It's a spectacular light show with lots of different patterns but doesn't cover a big area. One would be perfect in a 10 or 12 foot pool. My son has used it in his room on a tabletop and it lit the whole ceiling and most of the walls. A very awesome light but get 3 or more if you have a large pool."
