Pros: gets the small stuff
Cons: cover is so tightly meshed that it pushes the water too much
"I had higher hopes for this item. It does indeed trap the small stuff (in my case, gnats), but it's necessary to push it through the water very slowly as the mesh is so tight that it pushes the water and whatever debris you're trying to catch in front of and eventually off to the sides."

Pros: It can be removed for rinsing and then reused again and again.
"This is one gadget that I wish I'd discovered sooner! It is a fine mesh cover that slips over the frame of your leaf skimmer. It fits like a leotard and it skims even those really tiny bugs and fuzzies!"
