Pros: gets the small stuff Cons: cover is so tightly meshed that it pushes the water too much
"I had higher hopes for this item. It does indeed trap the small stuff (in my case, gnats), but it's necessary to push it through the water very slowly as the mesh is so tight that it pushes the water and whatever debris you're trying to catch in front of and eventually off to the sides."

Pros: It can be removed for rinsing and then reused again and again.
