Pros: doesn't clog
Cons: hose kinks
"This pump would work really well if the hose outet were on the side. Exiting from the top create weight, the hose bends over and it kinks...thus not allowing water to flow out. We tried a special house with a housing at the base, but it just kinked after the housing. We ending up putting this pump in the shed and buying one that has the house that exits from the side."

Pros: High Volume
Cons: Hose connector is PVC
"It is a good design overall. I tested it when it arrived in my pool to drain the excess water, it worked well. It pumps a lot faster than the other pump I bought a few years ago for the same price. I am worried about the longevity and the connector not being metal, which is why I am only giving it 4 stars."

Pros: Worked wonderfully well at emptying my pool, was very quick
Cons: None that I experienced
"This little pump must surely have itself confused with one that is much larger. This little pump worked wonders at emptying my pool, and did a quick job of it too. If you need a pump to empty YOUR pool, this is the one to purchase. Absolutely wonderful."
