Great Ladder!!!,

Pros: it is so easy to use and the directions were easy to follow
Cons: You must have 40 pounds of sand
"this is a great ladder. i bought it for our pool and it is so easy to get in and out of the pool with. my mom has bad knees and it allows her to have access to the pool when ever she wants. even my older dog with arthritis was able to get up and down the steps to swim in the pool. great buy!!!"

Pros: easy as walking up and down stairs
Cons: needs 2 people to take them out to winterize
"We bought these stairs because I was diagnosed with MS and had stability problems. I had fallen off the other ladders many times. These steps made it easy for me to enjoy the pool as much as my husband does. Thank you for helping this MS patient to enjoy the summer outdoor life again. You really should tell the National MS Organization about these stairs. Water therapy is very good for MS patients and these steps make it easier for them."

Pros: Super stable, easy entry/exit for grandparents and little kids.
Cons: Heavy to remove for winterization.
"Our old ladder steps were falling apart last year so we needed a new set. With grandparents watching our young son a few days a week, we thought these stairs would make getting in and out of the pool much easier. These pool steps were not a disappointment! Grandmas can now get in and out without a problem, and our son can sit safely on the steps and play.
They require some time to assemble and fill with sand. They also require some extra help to get in and out of the pool. Otherwise, they are a great addition to an above gound pool"

Cons: It's at least a 2-person job to get the steps in and out of the pool.
"By adding the steps to the pool it made it easier for all ages to enjoy it. Toddlers can sit in the water on the steps and play. Grandparents can get in and out of the pool so easily!"

"We purchaced this product for cost as well as looks and durability to ease entering and exiting the pool for elderly friends and relatives. The ladder assembled very easy and attaching it to the deck was a snap. Now my elderly friends and relatives are able to enjoy my pool with the ease of walking up and down regular stairs! This was a great buy!"

Pros: Dog and Kids can just walk into and out of pool!
"I love these stairs. They were really easy to put together. They stay in place well. They look great! Easy to see at night. The reason we purchased these stairs is so my puppy could walk into and out of the pool without assistance, they work great for this. He swims up to the top stair then climbs out on his own. My deck goes up to my pool edge. With the stairs in place it makes the pool look like an inground pool. We secured the stairs to the deck for safety. I wouldnt have an above ground pool without them."

Cons: had to use more weights,to weigh the ladder down.
"This was my third ladder that I have purchased this summer. the other two ladders did not hold up to there exectations. one fall apart and other one was very hard to put together. This ladder was everythink they said it would be. easy to put together and use. being a heavy person I needed to feel safe and this ladder did the job. I plan to buy the other side next summer.

"These stairs are everything we hoped they would be & more. They are easy to put together except for putting the sand in which was time-consuming but one expects the sand issue with nearly any stairs. They are safe to use and attached to the deck very easily. We did buy the mat to go under them and that was easy to install also. We are glad we decided on this particular set of stairs."

"I have a bad back, and I am not stable on my feet at time. These stairs have really helped me to enjoy my pool more. I also have a family member with MS and she just can't climb a ladder so now she can enjoy the pool. HTey also help younger kids get used to being in the watter because they can just sit on the stairs, and go down to the next when they feel better about it at their own pace, of course with an adult with them. My friends with children love me having the steps for that reason.
Once filled with sand they can be very heavy to remove at the end of the season, so make sure you have some help."

"We searched and searched for a set of steps to accomodate our family. Wanted something sturdy for larger adults and safe and sturdy for small child so she would feel safe. Only have a 16 ft. round pool and didn't want the steps that protrude out 3 feet or more. These steps were the perfect answer. They are compact and fit nicely in the pool without impeding swim space and they provide a safe, sturdy entrance and exit from the pool Well worth every penny!! Easy to assemble and weight down with sand. Excellent product--highly recommended. The only down side I've seen is that we have a lot of trees around our pool and the leaves get caught under the stairs. You have to kind of pick up on the stairs and swish water through to get them out--otherwise they settle under the stairs--can't reach with a vacuum."

Cons: Have not noticed any.
"I was hardly using my pool because I have been having mobility problems & I was afraid to use the ladder. Now I can get in & out of the pool & feel very secure while doing it. It is also nice to have the stairs you can sit & relax on in the water. I really wanted the caketop unit but now I am so happy I purchased this one instead. It was fairly easy for my 85 yr. old mother & I (a 50 yr. old woman) to assemble. We did it in a couple of hours & now I use my pool almost every day, & my mom uses it a lot more too. . It's a great product. This was the best investment I've made in a long time."

"I purchased these stairs because I have an elderly mother who had knee replacement surgery and certainly couldn't climb the standard ladder in an above ground pool. She can get in and out with such ease. It is even great for the kids, no slipping and falling on the ladder. It makes the whole pool experience so much better. I would highly recommend this to all and so worth the money paid. Easy to put together and install."

Cons: Need to weigh it down with sand as it is somewhat bouyant
"We purchased these stairs for use with our above ground pool as the ladder we had in the pool was made of cheap plastic and always bent and scraped against the pool bottom whenever we would get in or out. It was also difficult for our young neice and nephew to use it as it wasn't very sturdy for them either and our parents wouldn't even go swimming because the ladder was so inconvenient.
We purchased these stairs and now are just loving them. The double handrails, deep, wide steps and sturdy construction help everyone get into and out of the pool all that much easier. At first, we were concerned that the stairs would take up too much of our pool but that isn't even close to the case as they are hardly noticable in our pool (a 24' round) possibly in a smaller pool they could make a slight impact but until you get below 20' you really won't notice them.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is tired of the same old cheaply built ladders that bend or wobble when you are trying to get into or out of your pool. These helped increase the fun and safety of our pool while granting access to our parents who weren't able to get into the pool before."
