"This cleaner came with our pool and it never worked. The stayed wound up all the time. We would unwind it and it would go back winding up. We adjusted all the pressures like it said, we went on line and read what else to do. No luck. Now it is collecting dust. We are tring the pool rover."

Pros: Does a great job, even on a wrinkled pool liner Cons: Have to remove skimmer basket & ladder
"This is the first automatic pool cleaner I've owned, and it is great. The manual says that if the liner has wrinkles, smooth them out before using the Zoom. I went ahead and tried it without fixing the wrinkles, and it works fine, picking up dirt, leaves, etc. If my pool has a lot of pine needles, I use my leaf bagger w/garden hose to remove them first so they won't get caught in the Zoom. My skimmer doesn't have a dedicated port for vacuum hoses and I have to go over the top of the pool rail into the skimmer. To make the "Flowkeeper" Valve and adapter fit, I have to remove the skimmer basket. Thus everything the Zoom picks up lands in the pump basket - not a big deal, just a little more inconvenient to empty. Removing the steps lets the Zoom clean 'behind' them and makes for a smoother operation. Now that I have used the Zoom a couple of times, I can assemble the hoses and get it running in five minutes. I walk away and in a few hours I have a sparkling clean pool. Just make sure all the algae is scrubbed off the bottom first, because the Zoom doesn't scrub.
Bottom line - I'm very glad I bought it; it's saving me a lot of work."

Pros: Very easy to use, does a great job vacuuming the pool. I am amazed with the thorough cleaning job it does! Cons: I haven't found any cons with it, it works well with my ladder and my old one always got caught.
"It is an awesome, easy to use product! My old one was always getting caught on my ladder and this one doesn't, which is great. It cleans the bottom and also the sides of the pool. The pool is sparkling clean in a very short time, and I don't have to do it by hand anymore, giving me more time to enjoy my pool! I highly recommend this product!"

"could barely get hose fitting into the vac intake, pulled out at least 3 times in 2 days, climbed the wall and dislodged the hose, hung up on stairs, i pushed the stairs into middle of the pool and it got stuck in the hole that's in the back of the stairs. not the right unit for me. sorry had to return it."

Pros: Does a real good job on the bottom of the pool Cons: Must take out the ladder and back wash filter oftem
"Before we got this cleaner we had to do a manual cleaning every other day. With the new cleaner we just drop it in the pool in the morning and take it out an hour or so later and the pool stays clean. This cleaner saves us a lot of time so we have more time to enjoy the pool."

"A good pool cleaner. Easy to hook together and use, the hose does seem to want to tangle sometimes after it has been in the pool a little while. You have to be really careful that it is completely stretched out across the pool before starting. However, much better than standing and doing it manually."

"Wish I had bought this sooner! It does a great job of automatically cleaning the bottom of the pool - no more manually vacuuming! I purchased the leaf catcher (a most - so that leaves do not end up in the filter). Problems - it tends to get caught up on our pool stairs, and we believe the solar blanket affects its use to some extent. But all and all, we are very happy with it!"

"In my daily hectic life this saved me the task of manually doing the pool. Really does a good job! The only downfall is I had to remove the pool ladder because it kept hanging up on it. The ladder is not a deck ladder so that might not be as much a problem because they don't stick out as much as mine does."
