Pros: Easy to use, fast, efficient, trusted brand, saves time
Cons: Could not attach the fin but works without it. Apparently it's just for show and has no function.
"I have a small above-ground pool and this cleaner works quickly and efficiently. Easy to assemble and fun to watch as it goes about its' business. I used the Hayward Aqua Critter satisfactorily for several years before I dropped it and it broke. A few years ago, I hooked up my sand filter unknowingly switching the intake/outtake hoses and my pool bottom was covered with sand. This cleaner sucked out all the sand and I was able to enjoy the pool once again. Best cleaner I have ever purchased and I have had several over the years. Hayward is a trusted brand. I am well pleased with this handy must have!"

Pros: Does a thorough cleaning of 18 ft round pool and is easy to assemble.
Cons: Product needs a separate leaf bag which is not suppled except as an accessory
"With my 18ft round 52in. deep pool, I had to upgrade from 1000 gph pump with Type A/C filter to a 1500 gph pump with larger Type B filter. Better filtration and better performance with Wanda. Easy to install, only 5 minutes to connect hoses to skimmer. Definitely need leaf catcher accessory, sold separately. Highly recommend this cleaner."

"When I was considering buying a pool cleaner, I was very sceptical about Wanda or anything like it, but I bought it anyway because I spent so much time with the hand held pool vac and due to an injury I had to find another way so Hereeeeeeee's WANDA, the best purchase I made for my pool. I don't know what the person was talking about that said it takes him 30 minutes to hook it up cause he must be doing something wrong it takes about 5 minutes at the most. I tell everyone "you have to get Wanda for your pool"
I won't do without it and if the one I have breaks and can't be fixed I'll buy another one.

"this is a great way to clean the bottom of a pool.
we have what my husband calls duck holes in the bottom of the pool and wanda the whale does a great job. if i would have to purchase another vac. this is the one i would purchase.. i DO recommend this product for every home with a pool"

"We really like our Wanda the whale & she saves us alot of time cleaning. She does great cleaning the bottom of our above ground pool. The only downside is that it can be difficult to plug into the the skimmer each time it is used & it takes us about 30 minutes to get it set up to clean."

"I purchased wanda the wail about a month ago and it is great. I own an 18 x 32 above ground pool and it cleans in a matter of hrs. I usually just put it in the pool and let it run the night. I do suggest getting the leaf canister to go along with it to catch any leaves that you may have in the pool. Overall i am very satisfied with my purchase."

Pros: Does a GREAT job cleaning the pool floor
Cons: works slow but gets the job done
"I am so glad that I purchased Wanda. I had her up and running in just a couple of minutes. She does a great job of cleaning the entire bottom of our 18" above ground pool. She does not ever tip over, and I leave her in the pool over night and in the morning my pool is sparkling clean. I would highly recommend this product."

"I bought this to clean my above ground intex pool. She just doesn't work. I read the reviews and saw that she is slow but after 2 hours she hadn't budged. Then I read she needed cork shoes but I can't find them anywhere. I guess I will just chalk this up to another $150 that I have flushed!!!!"

"i bought this whale to clean the pool because with the hand vacuum you have to get into the pool and all the dirt is stirred up so you cant see where it needs to be cleaned. It works well but its kinda slow we leave it in the pool over night and the pool is clean in the morning as long as you take the ladder out. Price is good for the investment i have had no problems with it."
