Pros: This product is easy and simple to use( put it in a filter bag and drop it in your skimmer)
"This product is incredible.. It took my cloudy pool about a week to see any results... BUT it works!!!
I used a filter bag to put the cube in because like the other reviews it becomes sticky and the leaves and bugs get stuck to it( but this bag worked perfect) I just ordered 2more cubes"

Pros: cleared up my cloudy in two days and sparkling clear ever since
Cons: need to put in a sock or cheesecloth so as to help in cleaning skimmer

Pros: Fast shipment, easy to use, quick results. Water is crystal clear.
Cons: None, but I did take others advice and stick it in nylons.
"My pool was cloudy at the end of last Summer. I could not get it cleared. It was clear for a few weeks when I opened it this year, but went cloudy fast. Chemicals all look good. After reading reviews on Sparkle Plus, I decided it was worth a try. I ordered it on Wednesday morning, received it on Thursday afternoon, and had crystal clear water on Friday evening! Totally amazed and satisfied!"

Cons: Cube needs to be put into netting or nylon sock to prevent bugs, etc from sticking
"Discovered the cube last year.... was having major problems w/ algae, as my pool is surrounded by trees. Just a few days after dropping the cube into my skimmer basket, the water was perfectly clear and stayed clear all summer long. It also reduced my shock consumpion by 2/3. I highly recommend this to anyone struggling w algae or cloudy water. I am using again this year w same great results!!"

Pros: Works unbelievably well
Cons: Kind of messy/sticky when cleaning out the skimmer basket
"This product is great. My pool is crystal clean even after a hard rain, hot weather or heavy use. I wrap the cube in fine netting in the event I have to remove it while cleaning the skimmer. This gives me the opportunity to safely clean off the gel "package" with a hose. I place it back in the skimmer and the water continues to look great!

"I used this little cube last summer..always had a problem with cloudy water..NO MORE! This cube works GREAT! Cleared my water up overnight AND I am spending ALOT less money on chemicals! All I have to do is weekly maintenance and keep my pool vacuumed! A REAL time saver! You will definitely want to drop this into like a knee high stocking or pantyhose of some kind..that will rid of all the problems everyone has mentioned with bugs and going through pipes and such."

Pros: kept pool sparkling clean and used less chemicals
Cons: gel square got pushed back into pipe and had to cut it out to get to it
"It was the best year last year with sparkling clear water and had to only use my chemicals once a week before had to add almost every day but the cubes when turning off pump gets sucked back into pipe a couple of times and the last time I had to actually cut out a section of the pipe because it clogged the pipe so my water would not run to the pump."

"Clears the water better than anything I've used. Advertised to last 4-6 weeks, but I've found they easily last that long, sometimes longer. Gets pretty slimy and oozy after a couple of weeks and can get sucked whole into the filter instead of just slowly dissolving, and a couple times they floated out of the skimmer, so something like a small floating chlorinator or plastic container (e.g. small peanut butter jar or butter tub) that will fit in your skimmer, with holes drilled in it works well."

"I'm a new user for Sparkle Plus. My water always looks pretty good but I thought it could use a little pizzazz. We have a LOT of surrounding foliage and have to combat the mess constantly. So I tried one of the little cubes, figuring it probably wouldn't make much difference. But, boy was I wrong. In 24 hours after adding "the cube," my pool was sparkling like a diamond in the sun. I will update this review if it changes. But for now, my pool looks better than it ever has -- with a minimum of effort and at low cost too."

"This little cube is magic. Works as it says 4 Weeks. I held back on chemicals for 3 weeks just to see if it really worked. I had a center line (balanced) readings on chemicals for 3 weeks before I noticed any change. Slight clouding began so I started up chemical regime, and put another cube in at 4 weeks. Cut back on my chemicals by 65% or so. I placed the cube in a stocking knee high and tied it tightly to the skimmer basket handle to do away with the slim problem, worked great. You will be surprised at what this cube will do if you haven't tried it. I purchased a similar product at a local pool store for half the price, but it didn't work as well as the Sparkle plus."

"This product is great! In the heat of the summer, our pool used tio cloud badly, due to excessive use. Sparkle Plus is the only product I found that clears it up overnight and keeps it clear for 4 weeks. They are easy to use, just drop them in the skimmer, and they go to work!

"I have been running my pool with a non-clorine product for the past 3 years and ALWAYS had problem algae. I never saw the bottom of my pool...until this year. This product is incredible! One cube in the skimmer lasts about a month and keeps the water crystal clear. I know when the cube is completely dissolved because my water starts to cloud up again. Insert a new cube and it is crystal clear again the next day. I'll never run my pool without one of these in the skimmer."

Pros: I have not had a phosphate problem since I began using the cube.
Cons: Bugs and leaves stick to the cube especially as the cube dissolves.
"Typically in the past, I will have an algae burst from phophate buildup from lawn treatments in my neighborhood. This product has eliminated the problem. I have learned to place the cube in a fine mesh bag and this has minimized the mess of bugs and leaves sticking to the cube."
