"This product heats the water slightly, but reduces the water flow back to the pool. It is 20 feet long so you need a large space, works best if it lays flat. It did not heat my water by 20 degrees. Perhaps 4-6 degrees higher than previous years without it."

"I purchased one panel last season for my above ground pool. It made little difference in the water temperature. This year I added a second panel in the hopes that would do the trick. On a really sunny day, with the pump running for most of the afternoon, the temperature went up as much as five degrees. A great concept but even a few clouds will minimize its effectiveness. I also believe there's a design flaw because once an end cap popped off one of the panels and I lost a significant amount of water from my pool."

"I was skeptical at first but, when I hooked it up and felt the warm water I was surprised it worked so well. It kept my pool water at a very comfortable 80 degrees. I also use my solar cover and this keeps in the heat. I would recommend this product to anyone Jim."

"I purchase one solar panel for my 18' above ground pool. I was shocked at how well it worked. The panel help raise the pool temperature at least 10 - 15 degrees warmer. I will no longer own a pool without a solar panel. I would strongly recommend for anyone with an above ground pool. 1 panel worked just fine for an 18' but I think you may need to purchase more for a bigger pool."

"The pictures look much better than what it actually is. Handling this product requires strength and at least 3 people helping. It is nearly impossible to roll, either direction, and has waves in it even after laying flat in the sun for hours. The straps will not keep the panel from being wavy and bulging out inbetween, there aren't enough parts to correctly hook up the system with a manual by-pass valve, and it takes forever to hook the system up. When I finally did get it hooked up, it didn't work. They claim "up to" 10 degrees.... yeah right. It made it a whole 1 degree warmer in 85 degree weather (it probably did that on its own). I strongly recommend investing in a heat pump!"

"Easy to use and made a huge difference for us. Attaches to your filter/pump system & circulates when pump is running. Just run a line into the solar panel and back out into the pool. We have an 18" round and it worked well. Larger pools may be a bit less dramatic, but would have more panels. Because of fencing and space, we laid panels flat on the ground & it worked great for us. Got lazy last year and drained but left outside. Don't do it! there are numerous small lines in the panel and seams burst. Be sure to bring inside for the winter. Otherwise, loved it!"
