Great Invention!,

Pros: saves water
Cons: short battery life
"This self-contained pool vac is much more efficient than the old fashioned type that hook up to the pool pump filter. I just bought my second one because the first one wouldn't take a charge after a year."

Great Product,
July 24, 2009

Pros: Easy to use, recharges over night, no hoses needed
Cons: Could have a bigger collection bag
"We love this product. Easy to use. Easier than standard vacuums and doesn't need a hose. Can be attached to a pole so you do not have to get into the pool unless you want to. This is our second one because we had the other for over 3 years and the battery would not recharge. We purchased the newer model instead of just a battery. It is nice because you can buy replacement parts if needed. We love it and would never go back to the old vacuums"

Not Good Product, but good service from In The Swi,
July 20, 2009
By dmcarter3

Pros: None
Cons: In The Swim Customer Service
"I purchased/ordered this item before reading customer reviews. Rather than cancelling my order, I thought I would still give it a try. I was concerned about the product failing and knew the user manual needed to be followed 100%. Although I followed the user manual's instructions 100%, the product failed anyhow. Very disapointing, considering I could really benefit from the functionality of what this product promised. The unit stopped working after only two uses. Oh well, lesson learned.
I returned it to In The Swim and was promptly credited a refund. Good customer service from In the Swim. Perhaps this product should be removed from the catalog until improvements are implemented by the manufacturer."

good tool for small pools,
July 19, 2009
By simplybluepools

Pros: good for small pool cleaning or large pool spot cleaning
Cons: i wish it had a longer battery life
"I have a pool service company and decided to try this product and I originally bought to clean out water fountains that dont have a skimmer or any other way to clean them out other than draining them. Opon using for a couple of times on the fountains I tried them on a few diferent pools and it worked well on smaller pools and o.k. for larger pools but I still prefer a regular hose and vacuum head for large pools. Only because it is faster. I would recommend it for spot cleaning larger pools in between. I would and have recommened this vacuum to homeowners as a cheaper alternative to a polaris for everyday cleanings. And i hope that in the swim will start to sell accesories for it fairly soon as I don't want to buy else where."

A Great Product,

Pros: Easy to use, works great
"We take good care of our pool and this product was a great purchase to get rid of the small debris that lays on the bottom and just makes the pool look messy. It is easy to use and only takes a few minutes to get the liner clean and looking as clean as a living room carpet that was just vacumed. After trying a few other bulky cleaning systems we were hesitant to try it but we are so happy that we did. Finally a product that really works."

Not a bad unit!,
July 18, 2009
By recorey

|
Pros: No hoses to tangle, easy to use, self-contained, easy to clean
Cons: Doesn't come with handle, Price
"This is a great little unit. No hoses to get tangled up. No running up and down the stairs to backwash. The unit is self contained and easy to clean. I wish it came with it's own handle. Price is high. I found one at our local BJ's for half what I paid here.
All in all, very easy to use. I'd buy again."

Good Item to Have,
July 18, 2009
By dd21

|
Pros: Easy to use, Works well
Cons: Minor
"Great Item that makes vacuuming so much easier. My only complaint is that the supplied filter bag doesnt trap the small particles, so the get pushed through the unit and back into the pool. There are finer filter bags that can be purchased separately though."

Excellent Purchase,
July 17, 2009
By Minnowfish
from Crawford, MS
|
Pros: Easy to use. Has a good suction.
Cons: Not easy to "empty/clean"
"This is an easy to use vacuum without all the trouble of a suction/hose connected to the pool. It has an excellent suction to get small debris out of the pool. It is a little difficult to empty the bag and connect it back to the equipment. With a little design adjustment made by the manufacturers, it would be much easier to use. I would recommend it for anyone that has a pool."

LLOOVVVEEEE THIS ONE!!!!,
July 14, 2009
By Bahamamama

Pros: independent of pool system; works great
Cons: Easy on the plastic head!
"I have had my PB for 4 years now. Still works great. Had mud on floor of my pool this year. Sucked it out! Could wash the net out and go again. Kept all the muddy yuck from going through my regular pool filter. It settled to the bottom and PB picked it up! Bought a second PB in commercial grade. It works but this old one is even better than that one. I now have an automatic cleaner too but still use the PB for quick pickups. Even my 8 year old can use it to help Mom! HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

A MUST FOR BUSY POOL OWNERS,
July 12, 2009
By Kimsgang
from New Jersey
|
Cons: QUICK, EASY AND RELIABLE
"The pool buster is the single best piece of equipment you can buy for your pool. It charges overnight and cleans your pool within minutes. No hoses to deal with or debris going to your filter. Makes clean up inbetween major cleanings a breeze. Filter pops out to clean and rinse off and ready to use again."

EZ Cleaner,
July 12, 2009
By LovinLife
from Northern NJ
|
Pros: Simple to use, no cords or hoses
Cons: filter bag
"This vacuum is so simple and easy to use, no cords or hoses to hook up. It's lightweight and cleans corners. The filter bags hold a lot so you can clean without constantly cleaning the filter bag. The only problem is this vacuum should come with a fine filter bag, because sand and grit goes right through the bag that's included. Otherwise this is a great product for the money."

blaster where have you been,

Pros: The product worked as was described in web listing
Cons: battery could last a little longer but it lasts long enough to clean pool
"I have been trying to find a pool cleaner that would clean the entire pool and not have to be hooked up to the filter system, and that is what the poolblaster is and I love it. It is fast and strong enough to clean the whole pool in one battery charge."

power blaster,
July 11, 2009
By BobandJoanne
from Brandon,VT

Pros: cleans up the pool pretty well
Cons: doesn't pick up the fine sand
"Works better if you put cotton balls or a washcloth in it. Cleaned up the sand we had from our well water due to a leak in the pipe. We also had rust which made our water look yellow, Charging the battery overnight, we were able clean it 2-3 times. Have had no problems with it."

Lasted for (3) years,
April 23, 2009
By Anonymous
|
Pros: Don't have to hook up vac hoses.
Cons: Needs to come with another collector bag.
"I reluctantly bought this unit (3) years ago at the urging of my wife. I was very skeptical about how long it would last, how much power it had, and how long the battery pack would continue to charge. The only problem I had was that I used it so much that the collector bag's stiching finally came apart and I had to purchase another bag (which was a pain). I have to say that overall, I was VERY impressed with this unit and am defiantly going to buy another one!"

Thrown Away Money,
December 20, 2008
By 24RULES
from North Carolina
|
Pros: Worked fine for one summer. I loved not having to hook up the valcumn hose.
Cons: The motors are disposible. The second one they sent me only lasted a month. Water gets in and corodes the wiring.
"This thing should be taken off the market. The engineers who designed it need to figure out how to keep water out of the motor. Before both motors died it made a loud grinding sound. It would be a great product if they figure out how to make it work longer than 1-3 months."

Works great,

By beckthetech

Pros: picks up everything
Cons: none
"This product works great. It picks up leaves and dirt with ease. The battery stays charged for well over an hour which gives you plenty of time to go around the pool a few times. I did have a problem with the first unit I recieved however, I called In The Swim and the sent me a new one within a few days. Ultimately I would highly recommend this product. It is so easy to use, no hoses or backwashing required!!!!"
