Good Stuff,

Pros: Easy to use, relatively inexpensive
Cons: Product has a "pool shelf life"
"We peeked under the cover in early April this year and the water was crystal clear. We did not open the pool as it was still quite cold. Water temperature was about 50 degrees.
One month later in mid May when we did open the pool it was very GREEN. It took a week to clear it up running the pump 24/7.
I will use the product again but follow the age old suggestion, CLOSE LATE, OPEN EARLY. The chemicals do have a life span and will not prevent algae from growing indefinitely."

Cons: Need a kit for intermediate pools as I have to buy for 35k and only need one for a 20k
"Pool is always ready to swim come spring this year we thought we would need to repalce liner so we tried something generic and in the spring we had a mess!
We will use the best, until some one comes up with something better."

"Cheap..but I will tell you that my pool was black with algae at the begining of the summer..maybe I should of bought 2 kits. I was told that one kit was enough. I have been battling with phosphate problems and algae for 5 weeks now. It has costed me hundreds of dollars. Makes me wonder why I did not just pay the pool guy to close it for $350. I already spent near $500 trying to clean-up this big mess."

"I bought this at the end of the season to "save" some money from having our usuall person come and close the pool. We called to confirm that we had what we needed, I read the reviews, did all my homework and followed the directions to a tee. Well he just came to open it for the summer and I have never been so embarrased! The pool is jet black and smells like a sewer system! He said he has never seen anything like it. Now any money that was saved is going to be spent trying to fix the mess."

"For 2 years, I had my pool closed by a vendor. Each year, it was "GREEN" at opening. I bought this product this year, closed pool myself and it open -- clear and clean! Saved $400 between chemical and closing costs and will continue to do it going forward."

"This is the first year that we used In The Swim and we were very happy! Every order we placed arrived in only 1-2 day and saved me going to the pool store and carring all of the heavy products!
The prices were much better then the pool stores also so we saved money! We purchased the ultimate closing chemical package this fall along with the winter ball. They were all very easy to use and we're sure to be pleased when we open the pool in the spring!"

"I have been using the products at east 15 years and am so glad that I found them. They make closing and opening of out pool a breeze. I don't know how we did with out it. Yes I do we wood have to work for day to get the pool clear in the spring now when we open it is a clear as when we closed it. I have told all of my pool owning friends about your product and some have switched to you product. Please keep up the good work of offering these types of products.
