WOW!!! Great Product, August 24, 2007
By AikidoAkitas

Pros: Cleans uneven surfaces
Cons: It doesnt have any in my opinon!

"This is one AMAZING product - I have a multi level sloping pool (converted 6' deep koi pond) with knooks and crannies and sloping sides -- this cleaned it ALL with such ease - Ive tried alot a auto cleaners - this by far was THE best and the best part was it did NOT use my filter which clogged up with the hard leaves that jammed my filter and blocked the waterfalls. It this can clean MY pool - it can do anyones pool without an issue! AND ITS INEXPENSIVE TOO!!! I do wish it had a filter to catch the algae and sand with the bright sun of Florida. 100% Satisfied"

"This product works so great. I never thought I would get all of the debris off the bottom of the pool. Just make sure that your hose is long enough so you can reach the whole pool."

2nd best purchase ever, August 22, 2007
By daddycatapult

Pros: efficient
Cons: bag cleaning

"A very good product to gather leaves, bugs, etc. quickly. It even picked up a lizard off the bottom (poor thing). Though I'm a novice pool owner (I wish it had a filter to get all the dirt & apparent algae at the bottom) it is a great time saver!"

Pros: Easy to use, works great!
Cons: None

"Cleaned the leaves off the bottom in a zip! Also, IF you turn the unit upside down, it serves as a great skimner to keep floating debris out of the skimmer box! Best acessory I've every bought for my pool!"

IT WORKS, August 22, 2007
By Trickzy

"It works really well, and you can't always say that about a product. It is a very affordable alternative to the expensive automatic pool cleaners and works quickly. Although I don't have trees in my yard my neighbors drop into mine and this removes all those leaves and other debris easily."

Excellent tool, August 22, 2007
By Lori

Pros: Works very well
Cons: Bulky to store

"I only have to deal with leaf removal once a year, when I open the pool. That used to be a horrible experience and take a long time to remove all of the residual debris and get the water clean. With the Leaf Gulper, I was finished with this task in 30 minutes, completely. I could not be happier with the efficiency of this product."

Pros: Works fast
Cons: Needs tennis ball in net to hold it up

"This item works really great. The only change I did was place a tennis ball inside the leaf net to keep it floating upright."

GREAT INVENTION!, August 11, 2007
By ydydal

Pros: Simple and Economical
Cons: Silt and other fine particles escape through net and into water

"The Leaf Gulper is a great invention, and the price is right! You really can't go wrong if you're looking for a way to pick up lots of leaves and don't want to clog up the skimmer, filter basket or filter itself. Plus, it adds water to your pool while you're working. The only negative I have is that it does let silt and other fine particles escape back into the pool which clouds the water. It probably isn't the best choice if you have a party scheduled within the next 3-4 hours."

Great Product !, August 10, 2007
By GungaJim

Pros: Large opening and a large bag picks up the largest leaves.
Cons: None

"I have a Horse Chestnut tree near my pool. It drops leaves in flat clusters of four or five leaves which don't fit in most vacuums. With this vacuum it is no problem."

Great product for the price, August 10, 2007
By Inultus

Pros: Does the advertised job
Cons: Sprays fine silt into pool

"This product is fairly simple, you attach a garden hose to it and it sprays several jets of water from a plastic ring into a bag attached to it. The jets of water cause leaves and any other lightweight debris to go into the bag as well. It attaches to the end of a standard pole such as the one you would use with your vacuum. For the price it is a great product and gets leaves out of the pool in a hurry. The only downside is that the bag allows fine silt to escape so it will cloud you pool, but when you have a bunch of leaves in it, chances are it's cloudy already and getting the leaves out is more important that worrying about the brown spray from using the leaf gulper."

Leaf Gulper, August 9, 2007
By jadams

Pros: Does an exellent job fo cleaning debris from the bottom
Cons: Bag has a tendancy to fall off

"I run a Polaris in my ingorund pool 7 days a week but after a storm I need something else. The leaf gulper does a fantanstic job of cleaning up loose debris. The only thing is you have to really tie off the bag to keep it from falling off during use."

Great Product for lazy owners, June 8, 2007
By Showbiz

Pros: Sucks up leaves~
Cons: Icky leaves on ground after dumping bag

"So like other first time pool owners, at the end of our first season I was just tired of fighting the leaves and tossed the winter cover on and walked away. Well out in the country wind blows hard, and come this spring we opened up the pool to find many more leaves then what I recall....

After a week of using the vacuum and basically destroying my leaf strainer and putting a serious strain on the pump basket and filter I was getting very frustrated and thinking of calling in a pro.

My chemicals arrived the next day and there was a catalog included. In the catalog was the answer to my prayers.....a leaf vacuum that didn't use the pump. I looked around and bought the one here. It arrived and I had it in place and sucking leaves in about 10 minutes.

I won't be closing the pool with leaves in it this year! And the shipping was amazingly fast!
