Cons: Have to check and claen the filter saver often
"I have always used these because I have a lot of tree debris around my pool.These work wonders in keeping my pool and filter much cleaner.If you havent tried them , it is well worth the few dollars."

Pros: Removes all small particles and debri before reaching filter
Cons: Clogs easily if there is alot of pollen or particles
"This is a great product. It easily saves the amount of time you have to waste cleaning your filter every season. It probably cut mine changes in half. Unless I have a unusual amount of pollen or insects which might clog it up I just change it out once a day and rinse the dirty one off and just rotate them through a cycle. When they get to dirty just throw them in the washer and give them a quick wash. One packet has lasted me all season by doing this."

"Wish I had invented this! After you see all the debris that is collected, you know that your filter is not as clogged, less backwashing, less pressure washing the filter media, more time swimming."

Cons: Do not last long enoght
"This is an awesome product. Helps cut down on the amount of "soot" on the floor of pool and helps keep the leaves out of the main filter.

"Filter Savers are definately just that! At first I was alittle skeptical on how much they would help with the filtering system - WOW after the first 24 hours, I was absolutely amazed at the amount of debris that a filter saver catches that would normally pass through your skimmer basket and into the filter. Needless to say, having to rinse the filter saver out after a few days and after vaccuuming is definately less cumbersome than having to backflush the filter as often as I used to. Really big time saver in the end ! !"

"I love these things! They catch so much of the small stuff that normally would've ended up in the filter. I hate cleaning them as it is more difficult than just hosing off the basket. I confess, I just toss them out rather than clean them. Good thing I bought a bunch of them!"

Cons: Clogs in 1/2 hr of filter use.
"This thing clogs with pollen so quickly that you have to get up and rinse it every half hr. It reduces the filter flow to a trickle. I learned the hard way, not to add DE through this filter bag (my mistake). The DE clogged the bag instantly and the suction of the pump shattered my filter basket. Needless to say, only one filter was used and the
package is sitting with my other useless stuff. I guess maybe they should put a warning on packaging for
"dummies" :-)"

Cons: Should last longer, current product rips more easily than did before
"Save your water! Since using skimmer basket filters, we only backwash when we have too much water, and then often only dump the water because the filter pressure rarely goes up! Great idea. Should be packaged in larger quantities or, better yet, be cheap enough to toss when dirty."

"It did work awesome to get all the tiny little debri & particulars, but certainly did not last long with the chemicals/chlorine in the pool. They all dry rotted very quickly w/ the Arizona "Dry Heat"."
