GREAT Product!,

Pros: The Skim-It works very well at guiding all debris into skimmer
Cons: the attachment to the skimmer isn't easy to adjust once it's installed
"This product is amazing. It works very well at guiding debris into the skimmer. Ingenious design and idea! Works just as advertised. The only con is that I had a difficult time adjusting the screw installation part to fit tightly into the skimmer but once I got that adjusted to the correct height, the Skim-It works great!"

Pros: Works as advertised.
Cons: The plastic caps don't make a solid contact with my particular skimmer.
"I just installed my Skim It today and so far, so good. I did
have to make some adjustments to hold it in place. I added
rubber end caps (the kind you would put on chair legs). If
they keep it in place over time then I'll be pretty pleased. It
seems to do what it advertises."

Pros: Very little hand skimming needed
Cons: Did not fit on our older pool, husband had to modify
"the skim-it is great! It directs so much debrie into the skimmmer, I haven't had to hand skim the pool all summer. Vacuming has been kept to a minimum. The only minus was that we have an older pool and the skim-it wouldn't fit into the skimmer properly, so my husband had to modify it."

"After purchasing the skimmer I noticed a great improvement in the cleanliness of our above ground pool. Before installing this item there were a lot of leaves on the bottom of the pool. The skimmer has all but eliminated the leaf problem. It channels the floating items into the strainer basket before they have a chance to sink."

"This product really surprised me. It does a much better job than I ever expected. It can have my entire pool clear of bugs ect... within about 10 to 15 minutes. This is an awesome product."

"When my first Skim-it broke (basically from old age), I couldn't wait to get a new one back in the pool. It keeps your pool so much cleaner because it helps to direct the floating debris, i.e., leaves, bugs, etc., into the skimmer before it sinks to the bottom, which means less vacuuming. I rarely have to skim the pool before swimming when the Skim-it is at work. I highly recommend it in spite of the fact that it tends to need constant adjustments to keep it in place."

Get the Leaves Out Quickly,

Pros: Captures 90% of the Leaves in the first 10 minutes of operation.
Cons: It also captures my Clorine Floater and Thermometer.
"Captures debris, but it also captures my Clorine Floater and Thermometer. Lucky that its easy to take it out and replace it because my AquaBot Turbo knocks it off and I have to retrieve it from the bottom of the pool if I forget to remove it before using the Robot Vacuum."

"Skim it is a very good tool for my pool, it bring most of the debris in the skimmer and save me a lot of pick up time... although i have to clean the skimmer everyday (the buckets get filled very fast). i recommend Skim-it to everyone.."

Cons: obstructs floating Chlorine feeder, needs skimmer flapper removed to install
"This product works as advertised, but you should be aware of a few thiings in order to make an informed buying decision. First, if you have a flapper on your skimmer, it will need to be removed in order to install this Skim-it.
You'll also need to aim your "eyeball" return bung to circulate the water in your pool in a circular pattern. The Skim-it will then direct all the nasty floating debris right into the skimmer. But it will also direct your floating feeder into the skimmer mouth, which can cause a blockage and you'll have floating bugs in the pool water behind the floating feeder because they can't get past the floating feeder into your skimmer strainer. This can be resolved by using an in-line chemical feeder, but thats an additional purchase which I didn't anticipate.
Good product, but it may not be worth the trouble needed to get it working properly."
