"This was just the part we needed when our pump died on us. The price was great. Our local pool supply company wanted almost $80 more for the same pump. The next day delivery was a lifesaver, too. It was even on a Saturday! The pump has been working great ever since we got it."

"This was a replacement part for my current pool filter. It was an excellent price plus they offer the added incentives free shipping and handling and the catalog gives you 10% off purchases over $50. Why in the world would you shop anywhere else? "So far the pump is great, Nothing seems to escape this when I have to vacuum. Love the large basket too.

"Recieved a 24' round pool that had not been used in a year. I took it apart at the location and trailered it home. Spent several days cleaning up and repairing the parts while waiting for a new liner. Took apart the filter, in-line chlorinator and discovered the old pump had frozed up from rust and corrosion. Went online and checked out 10-12 pool supply companies and found the best price at intheswim.com. Was delivered quickly at no charge and with the exception of having to add an adapter because of my odd filter, it installed easily. The pool is up and have even added a deck to it. The Economy Pool Pump runs smoothly and quietly and has exceptional power for skimming, circulation and vacuuming. Very Satisfied."

"Great Hayward pump. We didn't need a shut off switch. I purchased the no questions asked warranty just in case I had problems as stated in other reviews. Peace of mind worth $20. Easy to switch out pumps. Mounts to all previous hardware, even though it was more than 10 years old. Runs quieter, but not as quiet as some reviews led to believe. If quiet is very important go with higher quality."

"I ordered this pump from "In The Swim" and recieved within 2 days. I unhooked my old pump and used clothes hangers to hold my hoses up. I lost only about 1 quart of water and had the new pump installed within 10 minutes. I plugged it in and had to double check to make sure that it was really running. I couldn't believe how much quieter it was than my old pump. Thanks "In The Swim" and Hayword."

"Was nervous about the other reviews and I did have a jacuzzi and it lasted 10 yrs...Hard to find a replacement.But this one came fast by 8:30am installed by 9:30am and works right from the go increased psi by 2-4 and is really kinda quite.So for the price and if taken care of I hope to get 3-5 years out of it! I would buy another one"

"After searching on e-bay, and at the pool store in my area I stumbled upon this site. Found just the pump I was looking for at a great price !!! Ordered on a Thursday evening, it was on my doorstep Sat. afternoon. Hooked it right up - took all of about 10 minutes - The quietest pump, very powerful. I am extremely satisfied with this product, and with this company. Would definitly recommend to anyone with any type of pool or spa. And no shipping cost - how can you beat that?! And they also send you a magazine with tons of cool stuff in it. I will surely be ordering again from this company."

"Ok, Oct. of '07 I purchased this pump to replace a jacuzzi pump I ran for years. I was hooked by the great reviews on this site as well, but I regret that decision now. I opened my pool just after Memorial Day and the moment I powered it up it was very very loud. I called inthe swim and Hayward only to be told it would be replaced only if it was not running. Understandable, so I waited. It went out a week ago, and now Hayward says they'll send a part for me to assemble myself. What? Needless to say, I'm pumpless, out $220, and upset. Thanks Hayward. Nice of you to stand behind your products. I will never ever purchase a Hayward product again."

"My husband and I were looking locally for a pump. The thought of getting the wrong one and having to send it back wasn't something we wanted to do. But after reviewing all the stats and the reviews on the economy pump, we took the chance. We ordered it on a Sunday afternoon via internet, and to our surprise it was on our front porch Tuesday noon waiting on us (and we're 2 states away). AND it was a Hayward pump to boot !!!! We are thrilled to death......my husband had it hooked up in a matter of minutes and it's running smooth as can be. My husband even commented.....It was the best purchase "I" have ever made considering the local prices for a Hayward pump.....which we would never had purchased. Thank You "In the Swim" !!! "We ordered and received the economy pump. Turns out it is a Hayward. Excellent price. Works great. No problems hooking up. Sturdy and quiet. Very quiet actually. A competitor pool place wanted $280.00 for a 3/4 horsepower and we went with the 1 horsepower. In The Swim has excellent products and excellent pricing especially when combined with a coupon. We will not shop anywhere else for our pool needs."

"I got my "Economy Pump" yesterday that I ordered. I thought Economy meant second rate or second best as far as quality. I was VERY PLEASED to find a Hayward Power Flo LX on my front door step!! I wanted a Hayward but they are always more expensive, and being I rent my home, I was not willing to spend that kind of money. To my surprise, I still got exactly what I wanted!! And your chemical prices are OUTSTANDING! Last year we tried buying from a local pool dealer. We spent 3 times the amount of money throughout the summer last year to buy the same stuff in the swim has supplied me with for an ENTIRE SEASON for just a fraction of the price!! I wanted to inform you that we will be using in the swim from now on for all of our parts and chemical needs for our swimming pool. Its nice to see that there are still pool companies out there that arent out to rip their customers off. We all know owning a pool is not easy or cheap. But to be robbed by a local pool dealer makes it that much worse. GOOD JOB GUYS!! Keep up the good work. My mother has a pool as well, and she is going to continue to use your services as well!! Your service is outstanding, as well as the quality of your merchandise and your shipping speed!! GREAT JOB!!! We used to go through Water Warehouse. Unfortunately, their customer service is DEPLORABLE. How about when i ordered from them about 4 years ago when my pool went in, they sent 600.00 worth of merchandise to the WRONG ADDRESS, then REFUSED to give me even HALF my money back!!
