Pros: Priceless item when it comes to safety
Cons: Expensive when you need a custom cover
"I installed my custom size In The Swim mesh safety cover a few years ago. I have been extremely happy with it. I also ordered and installed one on my in-law's pool. The initial install took several hours to complete (drilling for anchors was tedious), but re-covering it each season is extremely easy and only takes 15 minutes to complete. The cover is very lightweight, and I am able to take it off and on myself. Mine came with a mesh storage bag that the cover easily fits inside. This cover is way easier in comparison than dealing with a traditional cover with water bags. It is also nice to not have to deal with pumping water off of a cover and fishing leaves off of it. It has held up fine with snow loads (in Missouri). The safety aspect is the most important thing with this cover though. I have witnessed children accidentally walking out on both covers, and they did their job and held tight. It still put me in a panic, but it was great to see the cover keep the child safe. You always wonder if a product like this will do its job when needed, but I can personally attest that it will. I mainly bought this for the safety aspect because of the kids, and both covers have now paid for themselves with these single incidents. I shopped around for other mesh covers, but this ITS mesh cover was the best deal that I found. And again, mine was a custom size cover. The low prices I have seen on the website for a standard cover seem like a no brainer when it comes to a decision to purchase. One important thing to note is that you have to keep a close eye on your water in the spring when the weather starts to warm up. The cover does let sunlight through, so algae can form when conditions permit. I would advise adding shock in the spring (even though still covered) or maybe adding an algaecide product. It is very easy to open up and re-cover a corner of the cover to add these products. Opening early also helps avoid uncovering a green pool. A solid cover would avoid these issues, but be prepared to pay more for it!"

Pros: Easy assembly, light & easy to fold, covers provided for springs
Cons: None
"I found the cover easy to install and easy to assemble. It was light and easy to slide in place.Comes with easy to understand instructions. I have a rectangular pool and need to note that not all pool covers have them same strap locations so I did have to drill some new holes for the spring straps. If you are not replacing an existing pool cover, then new holes can be drilled in the correct location. Drilling can be done easily using a good hammer drill and carbon mason bit."

Pros: Excellent fit, easy pay, nice quality
Cons: I'll let you know if I see any in the next few years
"I purchased a custom cover using the pool measuring forms from the site, and they got it perfect the first time, and quick too. I was expecting a 14 business day wait, but I had the cover in about 10 business days. The cover looks very solid and I couldn't be more pleased with how much better my pool looks with the safety cover than with a saggy leaf covered "tarp" held down with water bags.
I was dreading installing the cover because I had a friend that installed one last winter and when I told him about mine he told me to "have fun!", with a wry grin on his face. The instructions to install the cover were good, and the fit of the cover was so good that installation was very straight forward, and took me and my 12 year old son about 8 hours to install. If you are planning on installing the cover, I highly recommend you get a 1/2" hammer drill (about 60-80 bucks) but the savings you get from installing the cover yourself is more than worth it!
From what I have seen so far the customer service is excellent, the look is awesome, and I fully expect that the cover will prove its worth."
