Pros: works wonderful, excellent for above ground pools

"I would recommend this to anyone. I have a 16 X 48 Intex above ground pool and the small cartridge filter they give you with the pool does nothing for keeping it clean. Since I have gotten this filter, my pool is always sparkling clean and chemical use is down by 50%. The cost of the cartridges for the old filter was about 15.00 a week so this is going to pay for itself in a matter of months. I would recommend this for anyone with a smaller above ground pool"

Pros: great circulation, cleaning and longevity.

"We have an old pool, about 10 yrs. old. The sand filter and pump were still working great but the top piece with the levers were failing. We couldn't backwash and the pool looked terrible. We tried to find just the top piece in our local pool shops--we tried 2 kinds but were unable to get a fit. So I called up " In the Swim" and they found the right one and sent it to us. They saved us money and time and a lot of headache. Now the whole system works (old and new-- all Hayward Pro Series) and the pool is beautifully clean."

"We have a 16x48 Intex pool and have used the small pump for 2yrs that came with it. We have spent so much money in filters and products to try and keep our pool clear and decided that we needed to do something different this year. We purchased this pump on a Saturday and came on a Tuesday. The pool was sparkling clean withen 2 days. Unbelievable!!!!! Love this pump and sandfilter. Sorry we waited so long to purchase one. Worth the money......."

"we bought the 100 lb 16 in sand filter soon after the start up of swim season. this filter works great. it keeps our 24 round pool so much cleaner and it has cut down on the amount of vaccumming we've had to do most of this summer. i would highly reccommend it!"
