great value for the money,

Pros: works wonderful, excellent for above ground pools

"I would recommend this to anyone. I have a 16 X 48 Intex above ground pool and the small cartridge filter they give you with the pool does nothing for keeping it clean. Since I have gotten this filter, my pool is always sparkling clean and chemical use is down by 50%. The cost of the cartridges for the old filter was about 15.00 a week so this is going to pay for itself in a matter of months. I would recommend this for anyone with a smaller above ground pool"

Pros: great circulation, cleaning and longevity.

"We have an old pool, about 10 yrs. old. The sand filter and pump were still working great but the top piece with the levers were failing. We couldn't backwash and the pool looked terrible. We tried to find just the top piece in our local pool shops--we tried 2 kinds but were unable to get a fit. So I called up " In the Swim" and they found the right one and sent it to us. They saved us money and time and a lot of headache. Now the whole system works (old and new-- all Hayward Pro Series) and the pool is beautifully clean."

"We have a 16x48 Intex pool and have used the small pump for 2yrs that came with it. We have spent so much money in filters and products to try and keep our pool clear and decided that we needed to do something different this year. We purchased this pump on a Saturday and came on a Tuesday. The pool was sparkling clean withen 2 days. Unbelievable!!!!! Love this pump and sandfilter. Sorry we waited so long to purchase one. Worth the money......."

"we bought the 100 lb 16 in sand filter soon after the start up of swim season. this filter works great. it keeps our 24 round pool so much cleaner and it has cut down on the amount of vaccumming we've had to do most of this summer. i would highly reccommend it!"

"i bought this filter about 1 and 1/2 years ago. i have had trouble keeping my water clear every since. i am going back to the de filter system. don't know if it is all sand filters or just this one. costly mistake!"

"We ordered the 21" sand filter for our 27' x 52" Intex pool after trying for 3 weeks to get the water clear with that ridiculous cartridge filter after opening the pool this year. The filters are $10 a piece and we used 8 in that 3 weeks. We ordered the sand filter on Friday, it was here Saturday, we installed it on Monday and by Thurday, the pool was absolutely clear. Thank you In The Swim. You have a customer for life."

"We bought this product this year after our intex pump quit running and it would take several weeks for a new one to arrive. I ordered this pump on Sunday afternoon and by Tuesday nite we were back in the pool. Great job In The Swim."

"Although we've only had the new filter and pump up and running about a week, we couldn't be happier. The installation was easy and fairly quick. It's nice and quiet and the pool is clean."

"Absolutely does what it says, the water was greenish tint after opening after winter, ran my new sand filter with zeo sand 72 hours straight GONE!(then i just backwashed the sand) Clear water....Operating it has been so simple im angry at my self for not getting it sooner. Water looks great always"

Pros: great quality -easy install- and filters great, water has never been so clean

"got this filter last week, and am very happy with it, Really a good price for what you get. Shopped around and you might get an off brand filter for the price, but not a haywood.
filter was here two days before it was to be delivered so that was great.
In the swim, good place to shop far as I am concerned"

"This system is an ideal fit for my 24' round, 52" high pool. It has a larger sand tank which keeps the water cleaner. You don't want to go on the small side for filtration. The matching pump keeps the water turning over many times a day, which also keeps the water crystal clear."
